Interview conducted by Deborah Lewis as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 27 January 1989. Bowman, a Navajo, talks about growing up in a traditional Navajo home. He tells about the role of the Mormon Church in his family and his experiences on the Mormon Church's Placement Program. He discusses his views of being a Mormon Navajo.
